The Wand House

The object is to retrieve a wand and return it to the box in the start screen

1. Go down the hole.
You are in the center of a chamber with 4 tunnels as follows
big column room
trees
well
laser shield - color machine

2. Go straight ahead through first tunnel entrance you see. (you see a big column above a yellow square) swith to your right, diagram to your left.
3. Turn right and flip the switch on (down).
4. About face and examine picture (print the picture bc you?ll need it later). Exit, You?ll be returning to this room to solve a puzzle.
5. In the center of the main chamber, turn right, enter tunnel (you?ll see wood posts or trees?)
6. There are three lights. Turn the left one on. Exit
7. Go back to the first tunnel you were in.
8. It has now opened to reveal a stairway
9. Descend the stairs. A cube puzzle is there.
10. Look at the picture you printed, which is the top, left and right views of the completed puzzle
11. Use the buttons on the block to elevate each square to replicate the final configuration shown in the picture.
12. The finished heights are:

13. Go back to the tree room
14. Illuminate the middle light, exit
15. Go to the well room, notice the water is clear.
16. Pull the lever and the water now has color. Note the numbers and corresponding colors. Exit
17. Go to the tunnel with the laser shield and you?ll see a ?color machine?? in the left corridor
18. Approach the machine to reveal some sliding buttons with a total of 15 vertical positions for each. The sliders will be used to count in Base 16 (remember Base Numbers from high school?)
19. Alas for example, for the # 255 on red from the well (your #s and corresponding colors may be different), raise the left red slider 15 positions, each positions corresponds to a value of 16 (15 x 16 = 240) and the right red slider 15 positions. You have just used the sliders to count to 255 in Base 16.
20. One more example, for the number 63 (blue), raise the left blue slider 3 positions (3 X 16 = 48) and the right blue slide 15 positions.
21. For the number 0 from the well, do not raise the sliders
22. Push the yellow button.
23. If you get it right the dome will glow the same color that was in the well. If you get it wrong the dome will cease to glow in which case you need to go back to the cube puzzle room and reset the switch on the wall and then back to the well to do it over again.
24. Note the laser shied at the opposite end of the tunnel is off now but you can?t get across. This will ultimately be your exit later on.
25. Now go back to the tree room and illuminate the light on the right.
26. Return to the former laser shield.
27. New room. Enter, go right, up ladder, then right, retrieve wand, place in box. Music again
28. Done
